Tuscany Rustic Italian Bistro

Jessie was born and raised in Prosser, Washington. After graduating from Prosser High School in 1988 he went on to the Culinary Arts program at South Seattle Community College. In 1992 Jessie returned to Prosser after receiving his certificate to work at the Wine Country Inn where he was voted Lower Valley's Favorite Chef by the Lower Valley Restaurant Poll. Jessie has been the Executive Chef for some of the finest restaurants in the Tri-Cities and has used his unique creative skills to design and implement menus for the Sundance Grill, The Country Register and The Moore Mansion. Jessie has since rounded out his skills with 5 years as the catering manager for Happy Day Corporation in Lewiston, ID and 2 years as a Food Sales Consultant with Food Services of America.

Jessie met his wife, Susanne, when he hired her to work for him at the Wine Country Inn in 1993. Since then, Susanne has worked in several restaurants waiting tables and doing front end management. In addition, Susanne received her Bachelor's Degree in Business in 2006 and has been working in Office Management and Human Resources for companies which include Bybee Foods, LLC and ConAgra Foods for the past 10 years. Jessie and Susanne have 4 children: Twin boys Sidney and Joel, 15, Jacob, 13, and Sophie, 8.

We plan to train our children in the industry and have them work in the restaurant so that when we retire they have a business of their own to do what they want with. We want to leave them a legacy.
